yeh because it's likely that due to your location 1mb may be the best you can get. Get the booster and force them into hooking you up.

the $100 referral is what is offered here in Houston.

the free HBO, Starz, Cinemax was a hookup I worked myself, when I moved apartments 2 years back.

The problem is OBVIOUSLY your wireless router, and has nothing to do with Cox.

At least that's what they tell me, every night between 5 and 8 PM, when the internet is essentially useless. Magically, the "router" has corrected itself the following morning.

I should probably buy a new router to replace the one I bought 6 months ago.

Stupid me.
