COD:AW question regarding weapon loot supply drops

I picked up an upgraded pistol and SMG via a couple of supply drops. They had new camo, upgraded stats, locked attachment, etc...
Question is...do those weapons stay in my inventory forever, or do they eventually expire?

i think they go away if you prestige.

If you like them you can keep them forever...but remember, you have x amount of slots so evenly you will need to purge something’s to make room.

You can trade any of them in for XP.

When you prestige, you only lose your gun attachments...all the guns, and camo stay in inventory till you unlock that gun again.

So, I've got my upgraded pistol that came from a weapon loot supply crate equipped as a secondary on one of my custom slots.
Once I replace that secondary with another weapon it's gone forever?

No, you only lose it if you "sell" it for XP

Every gun has about ten different versions...just select that base gun, then roll across to select the version you want.

NO gun/armor/EXO/helment/gloves/boots ever goes away until you sell it for XP.

wrong. Bloodshed stuff goes away after 30 mins, along with other items that you unlock via ingame kills/stats
