Is hardcore really that fun? Is it simply classic but permadeath? Or other stuff?

I am a (former) WoW addict and I just can’t comprehend wanting to play WoW in a hardcore fashion… especially as certain classes like a warrior.

Did hardcore several times. Never made it through always died in STV so I eventually quit.

Sounds good. I've gotten a warrior up to 26 with the addon but nothing in the official server. Currently have a 14 hunter :)

I think it is. You have the play the game in a whole new way, using skills and items you haven't even thought about. Dying is absolutely brutal though.

Lock tank can shift into a demon beast thing. It's gonna be legit haha. Can't wait to run around with a lock or rogue tanking the dungeon. I'll let you know what server I'm gonna be on when our guild decides.

It's addicting as hell. My first death was at lvl 20. I rage quit for about 3 days then had to go back.

I wasn't a believer in the concept on release, but having experienced it myself I'm now hooked. I thought I'd call it quits on my first death but that wasn't the case at all.
