Not yet, but I am intrigued. You playing it? Reviews look mixed so far, but generally positive.

It's the earliest I've bought into a EA so there's some expected rough parts but I'm hooked.
Playing with a few friends who were playing rust before this and they seem to enjoy it. They're patching it almost daily which is cool as well.
Sandbox aspect is a ton of fun (people hide things in the craziest places) and just roaming around accomplishing nothing is way more fun than it should be.
I'll say for the early reviews, the first 3-4 days there was a spell that was broken and basically everyone could destroy everyone's base in 30 seconds...if you read the reviews 99% of them are people complaining about that. That's been fixed.

Devs say you can host a private server, anyone check this out? there are a lot of survival/building games that I would like to play but don't because I hate the idea of spending time to build something only to have someone destroy it while you are sleeping or at work.

Went out for Christmas Eve. After Christmas festivities were over, logged in and all 30 cities were gone.

Just saw this for the first time. I think I could enjoy something like this. Will continue to watch it.

There's PVE Servers which fit this need and you can join private servers with all sorts of pro-building rules.
I'm on a standard PVP server and my first REAL base (you get stone building at 20, wood is level 1 but is a little too easy to destroy) has made it 48 hours...we'll see what it looks like when I get home tonight. More than a little nervous lol.
