It does seem to go that way. It seems I always get the last thing I am hoping for, I just chalk it up to my incredible bad luck. Lately I have had an unusual string of losses on D too. It was nearly automatic and I lost 4 in a row yesterday. It was weird. I should have the reaper by Monday, the champion by next week.
It is becoming more and more clear that to advance in the arena I will need a PD. On IOS, right around 1k, about 3/5 of my opponents have one. I am sure it will get worse. So far, I have only seen one cupid.

I can clear G most of the time if the waves spawn in the corners.
if they spawn either at the top or bottom (meaning they come through my wall instead of the funnel) i will lose.
the earned XP jump from F to G in huge too.
i usually get ~80k xp in F. Its usually closer to 180k xp in G.

I just tried to fight 6 people who attacked me last night. All of them are online. How is that even possible?

what lvl are yalls hero bases?
my biggest problem right now is a single hero will jump out on his own and die instead of waiting for the enemy to come to the group of heroes.
I leveled them up too much, and it's fricking me on HBM

I've lost the few times I tried G. I can beat F 85% of the time. Randomly, the A.I. will target my heroes instead of the towers...it won't even be on F-5, either, some bullshite like F-3 will slaughter all my heroes...seems completely random.
As for getting 80K for F, that's high end for me..today I've seen nothing higher than 14K experience from completing F-5...but my mana and gold vaults are all full.

My hero bases are all 14s. If a hero is jumping out on his own you need to move shite further away from your walls. If they're close enough to aggro one hero, they should be walking into the center to aggro all of them.

Try using heroes with ranged attack on those spots. I was keeping my druid in the middle but realized if I put him on the outside he could kill at a distance, keeping him behind the wall.

I think they do it on purpose, too. I had some capped heroes garrisoned, so the xp was going to waste. I removed them to send more xp to the heroes that need it, now all I get is gold/mana.

It's the Tier 3 troops. Tons of Ornithopters that wreck everything. Dragons, Shotgun Dwarfs, Etc.
