Thinking about getting a new Vita slim when they come out.

Yes you can! I'm storing quite a few PS+ titles on there because my memory card isn't quite big enough to fit everything.

Thanks. I am going to take advantage of these free PS Plus games available for the Vita. I have a PS3 and PS4 already.

The Vita Slim is suppose to be available for pre-order tomorrow. At least in Europe which I would assume it would also be for North America.

Yeah, I was thinking the press release tomorrow was going to be the USA launch until some of the news sites were saying today that it is going to be Europe. Oh well, have to wait longer. I was just about to pull the trigger on one until I found out about the slim.

I'd get the original, Slim's screen is a decent downgrade.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I just read that they were going with the LCD over the existing OLED screen. Same size and resolution but the colors are not as vivid.

The Vita Slim will have 2 hours more of battery life, start button increased in size, bigger place to place your hands, 1 GB internal memory, and extra speaker holes. Just so you can compare the 2 Vitas.

Yep, not as vivid and blacks not as dark.

Not worth the trade off for a little less weight and barely any thinner.

Sony said it "should" see an extra hour, not two, and early Japan reports are saying half hour is what they're seeing.

Yea I think it is 20% lighter and 15% thinner. I have the original and will stick with it.
