A new game has been released that has a ton of RL Pros salivating at the possibilities for competitive gaming. The game is called Disc Jam. You could call it a remake of the Neo-Geo game Wind Jammers, but this game is simply addicting. High paced, back and forth action. If you hit up @HighHorseGames on Twitter, they will most likely give you a free code for the Beta.

I'm telling you man. This game is going to go places. The dev team (just 2 guys) have already corralled a large portion of the Pro RL scene to play their game and they love it. The devs are constantly replying to people on Twitter, Discord, etc. They are extremely approachable.

Im not 100% sure on if it is coming to xbox or not. As of now, its out for PC and set to release a ps4 beta soon.

Applied for the beta on their website and got a code instantly.
Played a couple matches. I definitely suck, but the game is a ton of fun. Big time potential.

It's definitely fun. I'm having trouble getting some of the advanced throws down with the joystick movement but other than that it definitely has potential.

Yea, I am noticing a lot of the good players rarely use the standard throws for curving. I am working on perfecting the advanced throws myself. They seem to have more curve to the shots.

I like it a lot. Very fun but obviously, at least in my experience so far, will be hard to master.
The shots you can pull off are pretty sweet. Although I've run into a good bit of people trying to cheese drop shots in the front corner of your net. Part of the game I suppose but annoying.

If you play at the back line and there are more than 10 points up for grabs, I'm lobbing it at the front of the net to get the easy points.

No doubt. I don't really blame anyone for doing it, it's my fault for bad positioning lol. I'll make the adjustments... part of the learning process.
FWIW I'm waaaaay better at Rocket League than this and I figured this would be easier.

I figured this would be easy but shite man. Some of the guys on here are isnane. Some of the throws these guys make are just mind boggling. Or when they know where you are going to throw before you throw. Nuts I tell ya
