Call of Duty 2017 will take the franchise back to its roots

Activision also commented on the lower-than-expected sales of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare last year, noting that the “space setting didn’t resonate” with players, and Infinite Warfare “wasn’t the success we planned.”

They need to bring back decapitation and dismemberment. When I shoot someone point blank with a 50 Cal or chunk a grenade at their feet, I wanna see them blow up.

After the past few years I'll be happy with anything that's traditional CoD movement. I don't care about the time frame as long as it isn't in the future again. We need a break from that shite. I think the 3 developers should focus specifically on different time eras. So Treyarch could focus on games set in the past, Infinity Ward on games in the present time and distant past, Sledgehammer on the future

Too late for me. People have voiced their displeasure with the futuristic bullshite for 3 years and a lot have moved on to Battlefield and realized its a superior game/franchise.
