Sadly, I got the game late and my play through will likely be put on hold for Soul Sacrifice. I absolutely loved playing it though (at Good Time Club right now).

I finally started playing it and am still pissed I didn't get to plug the announcer right in the dome with my #77 baseball. 
Loving the game so far and I'm just about to meet Elizabeth.

I thought about it. I didn't want to hit a bad end or game over because they all turned on me. Of course, the choice really didn't matter.

I still can't get past the last fight on hard 
I try 2 or 3 times and get frustrated and just put it down.
The problem I found was that there were no dollar machines on the way there so I kept the weapons that I had the most advancement on and now when I start the fight, I have 10 bullets total and then have to pick up the weapons there and none of those are increased because I never used them. I guess eventually I will get it.

I admitted in an earlier thread I had to drop down to medium to complete it. It was stupid hard and I wanted to finish the game up and get to the end. I wasn't disappointed in myself for doing it either.

Have you tried putting up Return to Sender traps around the core? Every gun you need to beat the last level is present - sniper rifle, volley, RPG.

Just completed a playthrough on 1999 without infusions, gear, and no weapon/vigor upgrades. I think I'm done until the DLC.
