Like you said there are many ways to succeed in this game and that's one of the things that makes playing it again enjoyable. I like the combo of shock and crows with the splash damage upgrade clothing in one play through, but have used a different setup in each of my plays.

Speaking of loot
Do you get the same loot from each "secret room" (locked doors) each playthru? Or is it random? Does loot carry over?
I'm about to continue my playthru. I find talking about the game gets me amped up to play it.
Bout to go Tyrese on some assholes, but with better aim (Twd reference)

The special loot is the same, but the other stuff is random.

Deserves another post, imo.

I lol'd at Elizabeth transitioning to less cloths throughout the game.

She looked like a crack whore in the darker parts of the game though.

Everyone is probably thinking they can just kill them with one well placed shot because of the commercial, but no you gotta frick them up.

Just beat it on hard. Damn, the last battle non the deck is a beast. I had to put it on easy the last play through but got through on my second try and died only once.

Getting close to it on hard, I can't believe I didn't use possession on my last two plays.

It's a lifesaver with the RPG wielding Vox.

i was this close l l to changing it to normal on the last fight. i wish i didn't play on hard for my first play through. i died on some aggravating parts and felt like it made the experience not quite as good as it should've been. felt good when i beat it though.
loved the game and will play through again. only thing i had a problem with (and it was a big fricking problem) was lady comstock. terrible section that was obviously used to artificially lengthen the game. fetch quest to 3 shitty places and fight the ghost over and over? so lame. they shouldve had you fight her once. she was impossible on hard unless you used sniper rifle

It's an overall enjoyable experience on Normal but the skyline battles are more fun on hard to me. I don't find Lady Comstock that big of a problem; I'll gladly take the padding of this game over the hunt for chlorophyll samples and taking pictures of splicers.

the garden section of 1 was an abortion

I wonder what they are going to do with the season pass.

I had my first handyman fight earlier, that was a step up from everyone else to say the least

Yeah they are some bastards.
Next time I play, I have 0 silver eagles due to a handy man wiping me out.
Can't wait to get to a handy man on 1999 mode.

I've attempted '99 mode once and made it to the battle involving the first gunship (not far) and died too many times.

Played so much Bioshock last night that I dreamed about it. Can't wait to play tonight
