They had proof of him lying out the arse, i don't think he had much choice at this point.

Mitchell is so divorced from reality I didn’t see him settling.
Same deal with one of his other cronies, the one who lied about the Dragster record for decades before it was proven impossible to finish in the time he said.

His Billy Mitchell drama isn't quite over yet, since Billy can't settle his lawsuit against Karl and Karl wants to go to court.

Yeah, Karl isn't settling because he wants blood, brains and balls vs Billy.
Twin Galaxies was about out of money. Nothing gained when nothing really changed except including a wayback machine page showing BM's former record. Saved six-digits worth of lawyer fees.

I wish TG would have put up a gofundme and kept fighting. Even if it is a wayback machine, this is the best possible outcome for Mitchell, there is so much confusion about this settlement, it's pretty much a win for him.
