Best headset for PS4?

I'm looking for a new headset for my PS4. Any recommendations?

I have owned every brand at all different price points. Every other "gaming" headset is a waste of money.
The Sony fanboys will tell you to get the PlayStation gold headset. Its ok but if you want a cheap option like that a steel series Siberia V2 would work perfectly plugged into the controller jack.

fricking money grab man. Still can't believe my $150 blue tooth headset can't connect wirelessly.

My old PS3 stereo headset does connect to the PS4, but audio has been cutting out a lot. I'd imagine that's a driver issue or something but I know Sony isn't going to get to that at all. Probably will pick up the gold soon.

I have the Sony golds and I like them. Some people have had the band break on them and I can definitely see how that's possible. But if you're looking for something reasonably priced and you're not a complete audiophile they're pretty good

And wow, only $65 now. Got them when they first came out for more than double that price. Would definitely recommend these and they look great as a bonus.

I got my pair in early December and am absolutely in love.
I had Astros before and I honestly can't believe I let my ears be funneled sounds by any other brand. If you have the money go Sennheiser.

You get what you pay for.
If you buy a headset for less than $100 it's probably going to be shitty, but the PS Golds seem to be a crowd favorite if you're not willing to spend the cash.

I may play once or twice a week. Maybe. So I don't really care if I don't have the best Bose has to offer on my ears. The PS Golds are good enough for me.

I play literally every day, so why would I not want high quality ones?
The thread is titled "Best headset for PS4" so I'm not going to suggest a shitty pair for under $100
