I did a point forward SF. It's pretty even across the board with Agility being maxed out. I dunk really well and can drain threes as well.

use this website [link=(nba2kmyplayer.com)]nba2kmyplayer.com[/link]

it will allow you to compare 2 archtypes and their ratings at the same time. then just decide what type of player you get more enjoyment from.

eta: apparently Chicken didn't pay the bills this month and links don't work.

That's what I went with as well. Might have to go up a difficulty level though. I'm dominating on All-Star

Just for the career mode? or do you play Pro-Am too?

You probably need to find a better shot release. Sharpshooters are ridiculous this year so you shouldn't have issues shooting.

Sharpshooter SG. I molded myself after Kyle Korver (height, weight, shot release) and I am absolutely deadly from anywhere with my shot. Working on my grand badge, but have HoF badges for catch and shoot, corner specialist, and limitless range.

ive tried many different releases. When I play pro am or park the meter glitches up and back down quickly. I don't know if its my internet or what.

That's honestly just the lag. it's like that with anything online in NBA. It's just something you have to account for.

explain.

PG - Playmaker. I have Pick&Roll Maestro (Silver), LobCity Passer (Silver), but still don't have Flashy Passer, Ankle Breaker or Dimer.

I have 358 assists so far in my 1st season and no Dimer. I don't know if it's broken or not.

What are HOF badges? What's the Grand Badge?

Yea but I didn't have that problem last year. The shot meter has changed that. I shot excellent last year. Now its just guess work. Literally have got like one green light on my park with gold badges for all the sharp shooter. Catch and shoot HOF

Each player Archetype has a set number (5) upgradeable badges to work towards. in order to earn the grand badge, you have to have all 5 of your upgradeable badges to at least gold. I've heard a few things regarding how to unlock the grand badge. For instance, on my sharpshooter, I've heard if you just perform every move that triggers your 5 badges multiple times, you will unlock them. I've also heard that if I just catch and shoot 500+ times with my sharpshooter, it will unlock the grand badge.

The HoF badges are obtainable once you get gold on a particular badge. To get the HoF badge for your archetype you have to achieve gold badges and then continue to perform said badge moves 2-3X more than what it took to get the gold badge. So if it took you 25 shots to get the corner specialist bronze badge (and then you upgraded it to gold) you would then need to make an additional 50 or so corner 3 pointers to earn your HoF badge.

You DO NOT need all HoF badges to get your grand badge, but I do believe you at least need all badges to be gold.

As far as your playmaker is concerned, perhaps the dimer badge is only triggered once the season is complete? Maybe they upped the number of assists you need to get the dimer badge. I know I searched YouTube to gauge how many times I needed to perform a move to unlock things or what combination of moves I needed to perform to unlock the badges.

interesting.

sounds like i've got some YouTubing to do.

how deep into your season are you?
i'm at the end of January. I really want that Dimer badge. I've set aside 5 grand in VC to immediately make it gold.
Big difference in being a PG between having it and not having it. Silly turnovers when the lane is there and my playmaking is maxed out. Just the game boning me for no reason. It's even worse at MyPark. Last night, i was playing against the typical "X button Spammer" who was mad 3 white boys were up 8 points on them. I shake him with a crossover, dish it to wide open man down-court about 30 feet away, and the ball just sails over his head. how? why?

(online rubber-banding + no dimer = a bad time for a PG playmaker on MyPark)

If memory serves me correctly, I have just passed Christmas and headed into the new year of season 1. I play on Rookie though because it's easier to get the badges that way. Rookie/12 min quarters and I am scoring roughly 130-140 points a game by myself Most of my badges require me to drain threes, so I just call for the pass and take the ball up court and drain them like crazy.

yeah, i'm playing on All-Star.
I need to drop it down to get Dimer and Ankle Breaker easier. I think i'm probably only a few successful flashy passes away from Flashy Passer. It's a stupid badge anyhow. But now to get the grand badge, I apparently need it. I never use flashy pass unless it's a 3 on 1 fast break or something similar.

I play on all star because I get more VC for buying packs in myteam. Averaging 18-12 2 blocks on my glass cleaner and still coming off the bench.

If I had a different Archetype I would probably play on a higher difficulty. However, as a sharpshooter, the easier to make the shot, the quicker you get the badges.
