Are the Pikmin games fun?

I have yet to play any of them.

I've only played the one that was in the "arcade" on the WiiU. It was a LOT of fun, but I'm unsure how it correlates to the actual games.

Started Pikmin 3 last night, game was a blast.

I haven't played one since the first one, but it was awesome back then. Really unique game.

Nothing else like them. Tons of fun for a single run.
If you like that sort of thing Wonderful 101 is close, but different. Little King's Story on the Wii is super underrated. I think it came out for the PC later on.
