Anyone Play FFXIV?

How is it going guys. Are there any groups here that play FFXIV? I played FFXI for roughly 4 years pretty hardcore during my younger years. I am transitioning out of the military and heading to school so I have a lot of free time on my hands right now and I'm looking to get back into the MMO world.
I'd be playing casually between kids and school, but it would be great if any LSU or SEC fans had an already established group. I'm not asking for help, just in my guild/linkshell/whatever its called in XIV experience, its always funner with a like-minded group. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thanks.

I played consistently since the release. Im taking a break for a bit at the moment. Im on the exodus server and i love my guild/freecompany, but it is just a bunch of random people. All of which are good people. Wont find much sports talk.

Absolutely. Been with those guys since launch. I consider them good friends. If you choose exodus the FC name is Fat Chocobo. Got a mansion and plenty of buffs. Like i said have not played as much lately and i know they have a lot of new members. Maybe difficult to find any to run low lvl stuff with but im not certain on that.

Ok. I'm assuming I'll have a method of finding them once I'm in the game. I'm not really looking for any help at this point, just a group that maybe I can make some friends with. Thanks for the reference, man. What was your character name so I can use you as a reference if you don't mind?

Btw did i tell you i had won the 2nd Cactapot ever in the server and got that Fenrir?

If he has you as a friend he can look at info on your FC and go from there. But I think you need to actually accept the friend request before he can do that.
I'm sure there's a way to look up individual FC's in game, I've just never tried it. I'm thinking about eventually leaving my current one and joining oauron's.

If you guys are both on frequently he may be better off in hyperion.

He generally is. When I'm playing, I'm on for a couple of hours almost every night, but it's hard for me to be a part of any raid groups. Can never commit to a schedule.

Once you get towards end game, or just pushing past level 50, having another person or two to run roulette's with comes in handy. I'm a DPS and when I used duty finder to find a party to run something, it sometimes can take 20-30 minutes. If you're a tank, it's almost instant, but I've never leveled a tank class.
So when I'm trying to get my daily stuff done, that can cut into it because I just don't have that amount of time to wait around.

If you have a time in which you would be on i could log on right quick and make it easy.
If you decide to go this route of course you can always go hyperion with sic.

I'm a casual player.. Just now kind of getting to the end game stuff on Heavensward; still missing some end game stuff from ARR like bahamut's coil that I'd really like to do. I still have a lot of exploring of the world to do really I think. But I'm on Brynhildr (or something like that server)

God I finally got unbanned like minutes ago, been wanting to hop on this thread.
I used to play awhile, back, I've kind of been thinking about getting back into it. All my good friends were at endgame and I was middle of the road. Games like these kind of seem to get old to me if I don't have anyone to play with
