Anyone know how to fix the yellow light of death on the PS3?

Basicaly this. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years back and traded a modded PSP for one. I have a PS4 also.

I wish I knew. I really want an old fat model to play PS2 games, but it's just not worth it because of the chance of yellow light.

You tube it man. I did it, $5 tube of thermal paste, $20 Heat Gun or High heat Blow dryer might work. Gotta have patience to take it apart.

Same here. Hate having to lug around a ps3 and a ps2. Fricking Sony and not having backwards compatibility post-ps2

My friend had a backwards compatible PS3. I remember them having major compatibility issues with a lot of PS2 titles. Soul Calibur 3 ran at like 20 FPS.
