It had enough hype to get some hate. I loved it though. There are still people that hate 3 for leaving the formula of 1 and 2 though

I think that is some of it.
I liked the game, but it just seemed like they went a little soft and also took some decisions out of your hands compared to past games.
In NV I killed some old coot early in the game (because I didn't like his attitude) and was the enemy of the BOS (NCR). I later find out I killed my chance to get power armor training when I killed him. I was pissed, but I like the way your actions effected the game.

Some of those decisions weren't for the best, I agree. NV wasn't their game but they did dumb down dialogue and factions.

my biggest problem from never playing it before was the fact that i killed everyone in diamond city not realizing i could run away and then come back like nothing ever happened so all my vendors and weapons dealers are gone now there's only one person i can get aluminum from sucks arse

yea they got me after i came back from the mission with the bar owner(getting the shipment of drugs) well that went south and i killed all of them then once i got back to DC everyone and their moms was after my arse

Also pretty impressed because I've tried to pick a lock here or there in that place and when spotted, EVERYONE pulls out a gun on me. Just sit there and take it.

i didn't realize till way down the road like weeks then i returned there to find out everything was chill i was to far to turn back and now i'm beyond the idea of it
