Anyone gonna grab Fortnite?

saw yesterday you can pre order for $60 and have access now, or get it on the 25th regularly. Haven't followed this game other than its been in dev since 2011. is it open world multiplayer or is 4 man co op the most you get?

It's pretty fun. I've been playing it off and on for about a year through the closed access codes I got. Supposedly buying it now grants you access to the early access but its going to be free to play In 2018. I do know, however, that it requires you to be online to play.

Watched some videos and it looks like it could be a lot of fun and and you can put a ton of hours in it so I picked up the $40 version

no, f2p goes sometime in 2018. there is no pvp planned now so microtransactions shouldnt be a big deal.

reddit says if you buy on Ps4 and link accounts you can play it on pc as well.

I believe it's online only. I haven't read that anywhere officially but a lot of the negative reviews state that as why they don't like it.

I have it on PC but I'm not sure if I'm going to buy it with my current backlog. I have a $20 off coupon for any version so I may end up grabbing the standard for $20.

I seem to have found myself blocked I need skill point to progress and have no missions left to earn them.

no idea what im doing. i guess i should use these xp boosts to get more xp and unlock more skill points? I was top performer in my first multiplayer and got 3 skill points from 1 mission.

Meh I am not a big MP outside of MMOs so we can be available to help out when needed, I play mostly single player anyway.
