Anybody still play New World?

I remember this coming out and it looking interesting but was apparently a mess upon release. One of the streamers i watch started it up again recently and it has me pretty intrigued. Sounds like a lot has been fixed but was reading some of the Steam reviews and apparently the queue thing is still a big issue? Anyway, its on sale for $19.99 at the moment and cant seem to make up my mind.

I dumped the game once I realized you had to run everywhere, and that fast travel was extremely limited.

I would have no issue with that if the world made you want to explore it.

running around back in the day in STV was miserable but the world was incredible, new world does not have that

I'm still playing and preparing for the Brimstone Sands release in a few weeks. Happy to answer any questions about it.
Game was a mess at launch and has been steadily improving. It is a much different game now than most of the experience posted in this thread. It still has some issues but is getting new content and fixes all of the time.

Is it feasible for someone to own a house that doesn’t play for more than a couple weeks at a time?

Have played off and on over the past couple of months. It’s a beautiful game and great for farming/running around doing quests but the PVP is unplayable unless you’re a pro. I like the invasions though
