Purchased late in April. Mine isn't set to be shipped until mid June.

I saw you own. You're on 980Ti SLi or just run 1? How is the performance?

I'm still on 2 780Tis, haven't really run anything to push it, it runs pretty freakin great in what I have played.

Gonna get the 1080Ti when it comes out.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I saw you on something earlier.

IDK what games are really out now. Im not a fan of that junkies title every is talking about. One title I do look forward to is Elite Dangerous on the Vive.

I'll wait for some games I would normally play. Also had an unexpected expense so I won't be upgrading my PC for a bit.

I have elite but don't have time to play it before my short vacation this weekend. I don't care for the junkies game either. I do kinda want the horseshoes and hand grenades shooting range game though. These fricking shitty games are too damn expensive though.

I can't wait to try out minecraft and br pr0n though

How much room does it take up?

Do you actually have to have a VR room?

You honestly need a room, I have the minimum 6ft one way and about 10-12 the other for using the sensors where my computer currently sits. The max is like 16 x 16. You can also play without the sensors, but you can't move around like you could IRL in the games. I've already bashed my controller into walls and shite lol.

The sensors also need power, so you really have to think about where you place them.

I am seriously impressed with it so far. It is nowhere near the gimmicky feel of old VR. It feels like something that's might become common place with video games even with only playing the crappy games. I played horseshoes and hand grenades tonight, and what you can do in it with the shooting games makes me giddy the direction first person shooters can go from here.
