I'm looking for something new to play that'll keep me entertained for a while (preferably on PC). I want something with rpg/loot elements to it that's not a JRPG (they put me to sleep for whatever reason and the art style is always the same). I'm currently burned out on Destiny 2, although I love the concept (sci-fi, RPG, shooter...and I hate multiplayer FPS normally). My big hope (despite EA's unfortunate involvement) is Anthem later this year. That game looks to have everything I could dream for in a game, but it's going to be a long wait. Is there anything out there that's in the same ballpark?
For those curious, here's the Anthem gameplay trailer from E3.

If you haven't played Witcher 3 that should be what you play immediately.

Just get drunk, get back on Destiny 2 and blow a few hundred dollars on Eververse.
That should cure your itch

I don’t know how new it is, but I played Divinity II the other day at PAX South on a PC. I really enjoyed it.

The Witcher 3 and Divinity 2 are good suggestions. I never played the Witcher series, but have watched others play it. I'd probably need to watch story recaps of the first two before I jumped in though. Divinity 2 isn't necessarily my style, but I've heard only good things. I may give it a look.
As far as Destiny 2 goes, there isn't much for me to get excited about from Eververse. I did enjoy the Curse of Osiris DLC, even though it was a bit short. I'm trying not to get too hyped up about Anthem. It does seem like it could tick all the boxes that Destiny 2 didn't (D3 style loot, third person, etc).
