Any good air-to-air dogfighitng games for xbox1?

I love a good flying game and would like to find one for my xbox...especially for World War II type fighters, or heck maybe even WWI. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Did the "Air Conflicts" games get an xbox one release? I know they were released for PS4. I do not vouch for their quality though.
Really, our options for dogfighting games are quite limited these days. It seems to be a genre that died out in the ealry PS3/360 days. I would suggest Battlefield 1 or Battlefront (Fighter Squadron mode). If not that, there's Elite: Dangerous that is console exclusive to xbox one. Elite is a space sim though.

Wish they would reboot Crimson Skies. Loved that game on original Xbox.

What games in the past did you find entertaining?
FWIW I havent found anything that isnt incredibly arcadey, but many people enjoy that.

Tanks on war thunder is hard as frick. But the planes are super fun.
Edit: you WILL be playing against PC users in war thunder on ps4/xb1, so be prepared to fight an uphill battle from the get go.

I wish they still made games like the old Aces of the Pacific/Aces Over Europe series. Those games were fun as frick while still trying to be relatively realistic simulations. Everything today seems geared towards the arcade-y crowd. Those games are fun and have their place, but I like some variety.

War thunder has realistic and simulation mode. Where literally everything is put into play. Engine temp. Oil levels, only cary a little ammo and have to land at an airfield to resupply. G forces, cockpit only view etc. Give that a try. It's free.

Have they made a battlestations title for this gen?

I'm pretty sure. I can't say for sure. If it isn't, it is on pc for free as well. I have it on ps4. It's a fun little game. The tank mode is hard as frick so if you're into tanks do world of tanks.

My won loves dogfighting games and the XBO is extremely lacking in this genere. We break the 360 all the time for Blazing Angles 2 and IL-2.

Just Googled. Apparently it's not on xbox. So you can download it for free and play it on PC or buy a ps4 and play it there.

Yeah the planes are a lot of fun. They're about to release a new game mode that has you playing as either tanks, planes, or ships all on one map. It just finished a 4 year beta. I didn't even know it was in beta.
