My custody trial was today. we had been rescheduled so many time my lawyer said screw it and booked the only judge who's ever avail because no one likes him doing their custody case.
Ex wife argued that she should have primary and I should get 4-6 days a month because I play video games and yell sometimes and she takes parenting SERIOUSLY and doesn't play video games at her house.
Judge gets to his ruling and starts talking about how he's 52 and plays minecraft with his kids so much they complain he's hogging the console, says it's awesome i play mario and zelda with the kid, orders shared 50/50 custody.

Congrats man, that's awesome.
One of my girlfriend's coworkers is in his 50's now, and is recently divorced. He still plays video games with his 30 year old daughter when she comes to visit. It's how they connect. The stigma around video games is slowly going away.

Indeed. If a father plays board games like monopoly with his kids he's considered the greatest thing since sliced bread. Playing video games with your kids is the same thing. Its a great way to connect and spend time with them.

Playing minecraft with my 2 daughters is a highlight of my life right now.
It's special for a lot of reasons.

I own my kids in Halo and CoD but I have no idea what one doing in battlefront and Minecraft. I refuse to Minecraft with them any more.
