why the frick don't they make Madden for PC?
The last one they made for PC was 2008. Fifa is on PC so it's not like EAsports doesn't have some PC market.
I have a PS3 but apparently this game is arse on last gen.

This is literally the exact same complaint that I see people bitching about in MLB the Show.
There was nothing funnier than getting hate mail from people bitching because I don't throw strikes and they swing non-stop or sitting on the high and tight FB and just destroying it over and over because people use it as a crutch. People will cheese shite non-stop until you stop it.
If it's the AI then you just need to improve. Not saying your bad or anhthing because every game has a bit of a learning curve, but you just need to be situational and aware. I haven't played Madden in forever, but I'm assuming it's somewhat realistic and requires the player to adapt like an actual coach would have to.

You should move on to NHL 17. It's a better game.

I moved on from Madden after NFL 2k5.
There hasn't been a great football game since.

The spin move is the worst feature in the entire game. They stop running and walk in a circle.
Well there's 3 of every move in the game this year. One by just pressing the corresponding button by itself, another by pressing it with turbo pulled, and another when you press it pulling the left trigger/modify.
Really difficult to master when to do any of the running moves and what kind.

NFL Blitz was the most cheating AI in video game history.
Once you were up 14 points, random fumbles and interceptions just started occurring until the game was tied

Maybe you are just garbage?

I think this might be the best madden I've ever played.
Defense feels real, the game feels great. There's definitely a learning curve, but it's a solid improvement. You actually have to run to open the passing game and vice versa. The improved zone defense functions really well. I'm really digging it.
You have to play call like football. You can't just throw bombs.
And the create a player franchise mode is really coming along. I like that now you pick your own season goals, I like the new sim system, etc...
Overall its a great game.

I think the reason I haven't touched Madden since the week after it's release is that nothing felt different gameplay wise. I mean, yea they've added the new zone schemes and they've done the gap play, but the online community is still heavily dependent on money plays to move the ball on offense and some form of game engine abuse on defense to stop you on offense. For all the bells and whistles they add, the most important part of the game still seems largely unchanged.

What are the money plays you're talking about?
I haven't ran into any.

I agree with all of this. The game plays great. There's a few things here and there is complain about. One thing that I absolutely hate for Franchise mode is how cheap route run is. It is the single most important skill for any receiver and yet it's like 500 XP up until your guy has 90 route running. It's infuriating. Meanwhile man cover is like 2000 points after 80.

There are a few. Four Verticals can be run pretty frequently and as long as you have a decent WR with a good spectacular catch rating, you can Y/Triangle it all day. I know in the Falcons play book under their singleback formation, there is a playaction pass that I used almost exclusively to beat every single MUT CPU challenge.

Run 5-2 and they won't run on you. Computer or user.

I mean, Four verts is very beatable. Just hit square and 19/20 your guy knocks the ball away unless the WR is OBJ or Julio. The RB on that play is a pain in the arse to cover.
Playing the CPU is entirely up to for your experience. If you want to cheese the CPU, then do so. If you want to play a football game, you can do that too
