Any reason? I'd like us to have a reason to roll on a particular server.

Mostly:

1. Avoid larger internet communities
2. Avoid Annoying Guilds (Good Squad et al).
3. Avoid Low-Population Servers

Basically, find a mid-tier server with one of the better larger guilds and a decent PvP population, but not overwhelming.

That knocks out Maguuma, Anvil Rock, Jade Quarry, Furnace, Sorrows, Darkhaven, Gate of Madness, Janthir, Rall, Eredon Terrace, Tarnished Coast, Ferguson's Crossing, Emhry Bay.

Yak's would be the most populated of what is left over. Crystal Desert or Fort Aspenwood probably has the better PvP options. DragonBrand and Blackgate fall in the middle.

I go where poncho villa goes.

I suppose I will, too. I have no input yet as to what server we should officially choose... I'll research that and get going on the Vent tonight.

That's just the one I'm getting on. Some friends are rolling that one and I think they are in a small guild (I think it's called Rage or something). And like you said, it's not a real heavy populated server.

Hop on board that's what this thread is for. As for server I am fine with anything.

And not during the middle of the work day.

They had some serious balance changes for this stress that were untold before the test.

Guardians were gutted. I'm ticked. Paragons all over again.

Necros, Mesmers, Thieves buffed. Rangers and Warriors about even. Eles and Engies also nerfed.

Damage and Healing decreased across the board for the most part. So it's a big shift in mechanics.

Agreed. Mesmers needed it. Thieves.... Just take a ton of skill. More than once I was killed in under 5 secs by a thief. Rangers, classically seen as top tier, weren't gutted like Guardians though. Guardians healing took a MAJOR hit, so much so I don't know why they keep the mechanic in.

Can someone explain the 30 Hall of Monument point thing from playing GW1 and how valuable area they? I haven't played it in years so I would have to start from scratch playing GW1.
