WOW Wingery - Hwy 21 at Covington

Seriously, who has had bad service here over the past couple of months?
Does it really need to take 40 minutes to get an order of wings and a kids grilled cheese to the customer (we ordered it when we first sat down to get the process sped up)?
Entrees came out at 55 minutes.
There were only 5 tables being served and 3 waiters.

The Kicker: I asked the waiter what the deal was and he said the cooks don't like to be told what and when to cook, so they go out back and smoke and take their time, leaving the waiter on the hook for the delays.
ETA
Thanks for the # Rouge, I will not call, but my neighbor will.
My complaints at the start of the thread are from October, but my neighbor went last night and had the same problems listed below:
1. Slow Service: 45 mins to get a Kentucky wrap and a Hamburger Po-Boy (which was the Daily Special)
2. Accuracy: No cheese on burger as ordered, and wrong drink served.
When he told me this story, it reminded me to post it on td.com, just bc of the crappy feeling it gave us to be strung along there.

Don't go back.
Boycott wingeries on the Northshore in general until Covington/Mandeville gets a BWW.

Great plan. BWW is a favorite of mine.

Agree. WOW is horrible. I've eaten there a few times out of convenience, and I've never had a great experience. There's always been something wrong. It's just ok, overpriced food. There are many, many better choices in the area.

If you specialize in something, you should be damn good at it, not just ok, and that's all WOW is...just ok. I'd be surprised to hear of anyone who goes there because of anything besides location/convenience.

is Ballard the Owner or something?
the one I go to is 1.5 miles from their corporate office, you'd think they would have their service in line.

sounds like both the managers and cooks dont need to be employed anymore

Yeah, two brothers, that's their last name. Pretty good guys too.

bet they would be pretty pissed if they heard about their cooks "not being told when to cook". if that shite was happening where i work i would be on the phone with corporate. waiters cant make money if the cooks are a bunch of frick ups

3 brothers own the franchise. I will give them a heads up, but it wouldn't be the first time. My wife makes it a point to tell them this kind of stuff whenever it happens to us. The issue is that while the brothers own the franchise they do not manage all of the individual stores so quality control can be difficult.

They also have some involvement in a few of the PJ's Coffee shops.
I'd make a phone call tomorrow demanding an explanation and/or refund.

They recently acquired the PJ's franchise as well.

Aren't they planning to open one in the BR area soon?
