After 10 years of working from home Im now making the commute and doing more of a 9-5 thing.
Which due to the aforementioned commute is more like a 730 to 6: 30 thing

So instead of going to the store and picking up something fresh to cook at home I need to make other plans for keeping my girlish figure intact.

whos used what the opine?

We used GreenChef. Enjoyed it and never had an issue with freshness.

Only gripe would be portion size, and that for the period we used it, there were an awful lot of curry dishes (which I do not like)

Blue Apron is crap and takes a lot of time to prepare. I prefer Hello Fresh.

I've used hello fresh. It was a good deal but the vegetarian options were sub par. (Mrs. STLDawg is a vegetarian.)

OT bylaws require that you be notified that she don't eat meat, but she sure likes the bone.

I used Hellofresh for about a month. The recipes are kinda hipsterish and bland but if you are any good in the kitchen you'll be able to spice it up a little bit.

The main reason I quit is because at that time they wouldn't deliver the box on mondays (may have changed). The box would arrive on wed, Id cook one, go out for beers on Thursday, and then if I did anything out of town on the weekend the other two would spoil. I think there's still one mummified in the back of my fridge.

Used blue apron for a year. Was pretty good meals. They started having issues of sending rotten produce though. After a few times of that I switched to home chef. Really enjoy it. More of a variety each week. Not stuck on 3 meals with the other options taken away by price point. Can get more than 3 meals each week if you want. Each meal is priced separate.

PeachDish is better than Blue Apron. They change menus weekly and have better options than Blue Apron in my opinion.

We used it for two months and never had the same thing twice. Favorite was a chicken/quinoa dish and also a fish taco dish that was pretty good

This makes common sense though, they'd have to ship on Sunday overnight to arrive on Monday which obviously isn't possible with some forms of delivery.

I've us even them. Pretty expensive, portion sizes are not large but it's what you should eat.

The main reason we rarely do it is because we have kids and while the food is good it's rarely kid friendly so doesn't make sense.

I do think they are decent gift ideas for certain people though. It's a nice change of pace.

We used plated, small portion sizes and long prep times, sometimes around an hour for meals.

We've tried a few of them. Hello fresh has been the best. Plated was great food but took a while. Blue Apron sent rotten garlic, a 1 inch rotted pepper, and two busted eggs. For all that trouble, they refunded us $5.

With Hello Fresh we've never repeated a meal and everything is super easy and the ingredients are good quality. The only time I was disappointed was one time we did a premium NY strip meal. The steak was tiny and it was meant to be split. The regular stuff has been great though.

Are they available in different sizes or is every meal designed for four people?
