I think I'm the only poster who isn't crazy about the pepper jack. Give me the regular all day. His smoked boudin is my go-to.

Billy's and T-Boys had always been mY favorite, then the wife and I had lunch at Johnson's Boucaniere in Lafayette for the first time a few weeks ago. I got a boudin link on the side of my sandwich. I think I now have a new favorite.

And Cormier's is nowhere close to the best in the state. I used to get some from them every now and then because it was the only boudin place in Jennings, but even Petos just a few miles more West on I-10 is better.

Sometimes I crave the pepper jack, but other times I want the regular. Both are very good, IMO. And yes, the smoked boudin is the tits.

Take 190 to Opelousas. Too much risk of an accident on I10

Stop at Kartchners in Krotz Springs for boudin
