Peg Legs is meh. I don't know why it is so popular.
Any place on the board walk or whatever they call it will be kid friendly.

IMO Hemingway's is the best dining in Pensacola Beach.

Peg Leg Pete's is good for fried seafood, kid friendly. Nothing really special, but it's good food. Get the fried grouper sandwich. In town, Fish House is good, the grits a ya ya are pretty damn good. In Gulf Breeze, I like a place called Agean Breeze.

when I lived in Pcola I used to hit Jerrys Drive Inn about once a week. It is very kid friendly, had good burgers, good fried okra, cold beer, etc. If you feel like driving into Pcola it is located at 2815 E Cervantes St

No its not til late around 10 or so, when I was there in July we didn't know it was going on they had a band when they went in for intermission then they did the contest, it may have even been around midnight. Its kid friendly, for the most part though.
