I realize it's temporarily closed for plumbing issues but was thinking about checking it out when it reopens.

I've heard mixed reviews but looking for some different places to try. I've driven by several times at peak dining times and it looks dead so not sure if it's worth a shot.

Had dinner there last weekend. Service was great. As far as the food was concerned, I enjoyed the apps and desserts more than the entrees. We had boudin balls and smoked redfish dip, both were very very good. That fish dip with a cold Envie hit the spot. As far as the entrees were concerned, i felt mine was an average duck breast. The sauce on the duck was very good but the dish was forgettable. My wife had Bbq shrimp and grits which were very good. Probably some of the better grits from a restaurant that ive tried. My sister had the lamb lollipops which were good but not cooked to the temp she ordered. Again, good but not great. We tried the fried bread pudding and mississippi mud for dessert and enjoyed those. Overall, i would give it another shot but id rather go to Beausoleil.

Have been a couple of times and I cant say the place is great or bad. Its just very average imo. The place looks great and I like the bar setup and patio. Ill put it this way, we have never left the house knowing we are going there. Its been picked because we wanted a few drinks after and Bulldog is next door.

Service has been good every time and the bartenders have all been nice.

The food. I cant remember everything we have tried but here are a few.

Charcuterie board - was very good and a good thing to order if youre just sitting at the bar.

Rabbit tacos - meh. sort of bland and not much going on with toppings

Smoked redfish dip - great app.

Shrimp pasta - its good but I am a sucker for pasta and shrimp. dish can be easily made at home with better results and increased quantity

Shrimp and grits - very good taste but the shrimp had the shell on. Maybe its just me but if im at a fairly nice restaurant, I dont want to be peeling shrimp coated in butter and spices.

Ribeye - dont bother. no sear and something I can make much better at home. When the steak came out, I told the gf I have no idea how a chef/cook could let that come out of the kitchen.

Bar is good. Food is below average. Staff was good. They need to stick to basic foods and not try to be extravagant. Even their hamburger gets screwed up all the time

Sounds like people are pulling for the idea of the restaurant rather than the restaurant itself.

Table = Tin Roof

Utterly below average with a decent motif.
