Saw some in a restaurant on Mardi Gras for $4.00/lb. Too much IMO.

I paid $4 for boiled yesterday at side of the road seafood. High but they have good crawfish.

Here in The Woodlands area, the place I go to most often is $5.00 per pound. Seems high, but it's the law of supply and demand I suppose... And I DEMAND my crawfish dammit!

Here is what $25.00 buys you...

Those look really good. And big. I went to a place in Westminster Tuesday night. They were $10 a pound and small. Then I made a big mistake and.said I wanted them spicy. Damn things were like nuclear fricking hot. Then they kept asking me how they were. I chose to be polite and grin and bear it.

Of all the places around here, they do surprisingly well. There were quite a few big ones when I went the other day... I was surprised!

Pardon my ignorance, but where is Westminster? You don't mean where the dog show is???

Good god man! You got raped! Where do you live at that charges $10/lb? Was it some kind of deal where you got 3 lbs corn & potatoes for $10? Please tell me it was a tray thing or else you got screwed. If not, That's nuts.

$4/LB in a restaurant is a bargain! I paid $13.95 for about a 2# portion on the day before Super Bowl at Morton's in Madisonville. They were delicious and reasonably sized for Feb 2nd

Rouse's in Covington was selling live for $2.69 and boiled for $3.49/lb yesterday.

Sky-high diesel prices have a lot to do with it.
