ate at the bar last nite before the pelicans game
it's around the corner from Willa jean

very cool looking space with a nice big bar
it wasn't very busy so obviously we got attentive service

cocktail menu is interesting we each had two drinks, excellent
we ordered two apps, a pasta and an entree

fried oysters (very similar to the dish at mopho), excellent
an Asian style salad with an incredibly tasty dressing
wok fried Ramen with crabmeat
pork belly with pickled veggies and fried sticky rice

the pasta and entree were both very good, but they had similar flavor profiles so they kind of all ran together. Next time I'll order more carefully

really neat place I hope they do well

Its just a bad spot I think. In the back of that building so no one sees it.

I hope they do well.

you may be right about that
we parked in the pay lot across from company burger and walked the block twice before we found it. All three places facing rouses were packed

I don't think it's a bad spot. Hell people pack out cellar door and capdeville. It's going to take a little time for word to get out and they need to impress people.

Bump. Went for lunch today, and it was amazing. We split the chilled buckwheat noodle salad with crab and the hot chicken vindaloo. The flavors were perfect. Looking forward to trying some other dishes soon.
