Tuscaloosa Craft Breweries

I'll be in Tuscaloosa tomorrow evening and wondered which of the two breweries in the area is better, Druid City or Black Warrior?

Black Warrior is nicer and right downtown, but their beer sucks. Druid City is a tiny place in a strip mall, but they make good beer. Lamplighter IPA and Downtown North Porter are both very good.

Downtown Tuscaloosa is actually a nice place to walk around, get a beer, and get a decent meal. It also might be the hottest city on earth, so there's that.

I've been there a few times for LSU baseball and we've had some good meals at DePalma's.

I was surprised/disappointed with the location of Druid city, still had a good time. Only stayed an hour one afternoon.

Alcove has a good selection of local beers on tap. Loosa Brews is also going to have all the local beers worth trying on tap. You could start at either and then head over to DePalma's for dinner. Or Avenue Pub.
Agreed re consensus on beer. Druid City then BoB then BW. But Druid City's location is not ideal.
If you are looking for BBQ, the original Archibalds across the river is worth a visit.
