I'm looking for a tried and true Tres Leches cake recipe. I've found a few online ( Allrecipes.com, Alton Brown version, etc) but was wondering if anyone here had a recipe they've used personally with success.

TIA

Hey, it's what it's called.

It could be called Sex in my Mouth for all I care, I just want a good recipe.

My wife makes tres leches from time to time -- she usually just buys Duncan Hines cake mix then pours the various milks in it and tops it with whipped cream. She said she's made the cake from scratch and found there wasn't much of a difference

Does she let it sit with the milk in it overnight in the fridge (this seems to be the main difference in recipes I've seen)? Thanks.

I don't have a recipe but that Alton Brown one looks delicious. He's usually where I start when looking up a recipe.

ive made the alton brown recipe.
it came out well and very tasty

i cut WAY back on the sugar for the topping, though and substituted coconut milk for some of the condensed milk
it was too sweet for me the first time

I got turned onto it at a local Cuban eatery (Havana Rumba). Pretty sweet, but very good. The SO is funny about desserts and he loves it, so I figured I'd bake him one.
