I was looking for something good to make (like Beef Rendang), but decided I need to use up some stuff I have instead of shopping for more ingredients.
It's gonna be soup, but I can't tell you what kind, yet. I have some tasso and cabbage that need to be used, as well as some veggies in the freezer and various bits of this and that.
First off, would the F&DB use this?
I'm thawing it out and if it smells good, it's going in.
Other possible ingredients:
I'm going to the store for some onions and peppers, but other than that, I'm trying to use only ingredients I have. One of those bags has some boneless, skinless chicken tenders. I hardly cook with those anymore (something I always had on hand for my son), but those might get chopped to go in.
Herbes de Provence, a couple of bay leaves, maybe some rosemary.
