Sake Sushi.

Are they fricking serious? Ichiban is literally yards away. That building doesn't even resemble a place that would serve sushi.

Good luck.

I wonder if it's the same owners that caused the saki sushi in Alexandria to be shut down by the food police (it is now re-opened) and had their 2nd location in Shreveport close (rumor was they couldn't afford rent anymore)

Simple question: have/did any of the potential proprietors think to try to turn left into or out of that complex during lunch or dinner rush hour?

It. cant. be. done.

Except for a couple of small pockets, Baton Rouge is reaching Peak Sushi. Unless someone is going to open an extremely small, counter seating, high priced omakase experience, I'm not sure what's the point of walking into such an oversaturated market.

While I agree that there doesn't need to be another sushi place there but I'm not following this.

The building seemed nice last year when I was in it.

The only buildings that standout are ichiban and tsunami. All the other successful sushi places are meh looking. Hell, the best place is 4 walls, a sushi bar, and the most uninviting cafeteria looking setup of all the sushi joints.
