The best sushi restaurant in BR?
Posted by cwain8845 on 3/7/14 at 8:53 am00
I am looking for good sushi in BR. Just moved to the area from Lafayette and wanting some good sushi. I've had tokyo cafe and was impressed. Had tsunami in Lafayette and loved it but a little on the pricey side. Any thoughts?

I am sure many will say ichiban, but I really liked wahada on nicholson just south of campus when I used to live in BR.

the $16 Leon Special roll at Tsunami that will make you still hungry afterward. tempura shrimp, snow crab, cream cheese, cucumber, topped w/ kani, crunchies, Tsunami & tsurai sauces
ask for extra white rice and extra mayo sauce

Had Koto the other week and will never go back there. Don't think that should even be mentioned in the same sentence with Ichiban.

I like Wahada as well.
I love going to Tsunami for the view and I think the food is pretty good as well.

And I mean this in the kindest way possible...
If you don't list Yama (if you have actually been) as your #1a or #1b, you should be banned from this board permanently, or taught how to order at sushi restaurants.
