When I was growing up in Pittsburgh, I loved these things... peanut butter candy cakes (like a peanut butter with a layer of cake inside), jelly krimpets, butterscotch krimpets, chocolate buttercream cupcakes, cream-filled coffee cakes... mmm. They're a major brand in the northeast, but unfortunately, I can't find anyplace around here that sells them. Anybody know of anyplace?

One of our vendors sent us a care package from Philadelphia. Not sure where it came from but it had tastycakes and soft pretzels.

I was speaking with the people at South of Philly last week and they told me that they will be getting Tastycakes soon along with some chips from that region (possibly Utz).
I was always a fan of the chocolate juniors myself

Only two things in this world I will eat ketchup with. Meatloaf sandwich and scrapple. That is the only time ketchup ever enters my body.

there are some diners by where i grew up that make killer scrapple. im a huge pork roll fan. there is nothing better in the world than a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich on a kaiser roll(or a bagel). my folks are coming down for mardi gras and ive already told them they need to bring me a pork roll. if you've never had it, you are missing out on some of the best breakfast meat out there. honestly, ive never seen it anywhere outside ny, nj, ct and pa.

My huge box of assorted Tastykakes arrived yesterday from jersey shore gifts. I bought Tasty Klairs, Vanilla Lover cream-filled cupcakes, cream-filled coffee cakes, and their newest invention, Pancake Krimpets (butter-flavored cream filled cupcakes with maple syrup frosting). These things are f'n awesome.

Tastykakes are far better than anything Little Debbie has to offer. Little Debbie stuff has that plasticy tasteless icing/coating, gritty cream filling... blecch.

Well, what exact WalMart are you talking about? I went to 3 this morning- O'Neal, Seigen, and Denham Springs- and none of them had them, and none of the people knew what I was talking about.
