New place on college with the "Opening Soon" sign for about 3 months finally opening today. Looks legit, but then again I'm just going off the fact that their sign looking for employees was entirely in Spanish. Going for lunch today so I'll find out if its any good.

I went, I thought it was pretty good. Chicken and steak kinda looked sketchy but I still enjoyed both. The pork actually looked legit though. Its essentially taco bell prices, but with alot better quality. They have a side bar with all the toppings, some of the best pico I've ever had. They have tamales too which were pretty good... Overall, not going to say it was incredible, but I will definitely be going back alot because I live right next to it, its cheap as hell, and the closest thing to authentic Mexican food near me

Expound on the tamales. Were the fat true mexican kind, more masa than meat or the great small cajun type tamales, cigar size or so?

Can't wait to try it. Need a good cheap Mexican Restaurant. Was at Zapata's over by Walmart on Siegan the other day. Not bad, but still need a good Mexican home in BR!!

Sketchy wasn't a good word to use. They both just looked fake, but probably just cause they were dry. Still good, I was just hoping for another La Tiendita.

Not sure. I know they had a few options for drinks, so I would assume so. They are open at 8AM though for breakfast which is something I've never seen from a Mexican place like that. They have breakfast burritos, churros, and "donas" which I would assume is just a mexican donut.

It's similar to like a zippys in terms of speed, so yeah I'd say it's quick. No doubt you can eat for $6. Tacos are $1.99 or $1.79 each dependingif you want corn or flour. Burritos $5.99, tamales were $1.09 IIRC and small quesadillas were $2.29. They do a plate lunch too but I can't remember prices

No problem. I'm by no means a food critic so please go and form your own opinions, but I do love me some Mexican food.

Sketchy was a great word to use. Steak fajita tacos tasted off and the chicken one was dry. I've now been tearing my bathroom up for the past 18 hours. Do not reccomend.

Haha I thought it was a good word too at first. Did you try the pork? No doubt it's less sketchy than the steakand chicken
