Going tomorrow night with a group. Haven't been in a couple months. Thoughts? Recs?

That place is still open? That might be the most successful place to open there.

meat and cheese plate is good
redfish diip good
burger is huge and i think enough for 2
shrimp pasta was meh
ribeye is not good
tacos are bland
Given the place 3 tries and it never gets brought up anymore when we are going to eat, and I live very close to it.

That's disappointing. Been probably 3 times and discernibly above average each time. We're ending up there as a result of a group of 15 and numerous other places being booked. I'll report back

It might just be hit or miss with what you order. The top 2 items I listed were good. Now yea its a meat board and a dip, but they were good. I didnt have the hamburger but friends both had it or split and I trust them when they said it was good. Pricey though. Something like $19.
The tacos were bland and lacking ingredients imo
Shrimp pasta was just very basic and something even the most novice cook could make at home
The ribeye had no sear at all. I laughed telling my gf how a chef could let this come out of the kitchen like this

I gave it two tries, and the only thing I had that was memorable was the fish dip. Then they closed for a little while and then reopened with an "improved" menu. Before going, I called to make sure that the new menu was in effect, and was told it was. When I arrived, the first dish I attempted to order I was told, "Oh, this is a new menu and we're not serving it yet" and the other thing I was told, "We don't have that today." I got up and left. They never showed the ability to get their shite together.

Well they did close for a while, but supposedly for a plumbing issue. I haven't been since they re-opened, but wasn't overly impressed with it before.

Do they still have some of the best chicken wings in town?
