did you use lean beef?
I like mine on the rare side so I think I'd rather precook mushrooms/onions ahead so I get my bloody rare.
looks good though

Is it just me, or does that grill appear to have been made inside a maximum security area?

Not sure on the statute of limitations on a federally controlled facility, so I will plead the 5th.

OK so we agree.
Look we have all tried something that looked good in concept, but didn't work out like we anticipated. Que sera.

That sucks
Didn't say that but this may be a little Freudian on your part.
You're such a e-knight.
Good game.

It worked out a lot better than I thought it would. Figured the burgers would fall to shite and the plastic thing would break. Neither happened.
I don't think the stufz can be blamed for me drinking too many IPAs and over cooking the burger.

Serious question - Which would you guys rather eat?
1. These burgers
OR
2. This dish prepared by none other than Mr. Ruzil

I decided to prepare a meal for my family using only TJ's selections and it was really good. I bought some of their vacu packed beets, some goat cheese and a frozen entree (pork loin stuffed with spinach and cheese with a rich sauce). I even served it with so called 2 buck Chuck. I was surprised at how good it was, especially the beets. The beets were so good that I don't think I will ever make the effort to roast fresh beets again. The pork was very good, and although a frozen entree, did not taste like your typical frozen dish. The sauce that came with it was a rich demi glace that added a touch of sophistication and flavor. Would definitely prepare again.

Oh I forgot to mention my selection...I guess it is only fair that I offer my thoughts while asking for yours.
I would eat those burgers. Would I make them on the reg, most likely not but I would eat them from time to time. I could see doing something like a Mac and cheese stuffed burger for the kids or something fun like a PB&J burger for them. You know, just something quirky but yet edible.
On the other hand.....
If someone put that 2nd option in front of me at a dinner table...Well, I'd likely thank them for all of their time associated with putting such a fine meal together and then politely fake a stroke in order to escape the situation.
