Looked like Lucy's to me. Maybe they are making the transition to the new name as drawn out as possible. People will continue to hang out on that corner regardless.
I stood right across the street at Legacy with no wait in the restroom and immediate service at the bar all night.

Yeah it just officially changed to 701 yesterday so I doubt there was much that happened with it over the weekend. On a side note the new name 701 is actually the address (701 Tchoupitoulas). They probably had a short window to come up with a new name lol. Gonna take some good brand management to build that one up.

I'd imagine they'll try and make any changes as subtle as possible, seeing as the name change was probably the result of legal matters (kind of like the Quarter Camellia Grill). No reason to mess with a profitable model. Other than the name I doubt much will change.

Well, how many people do you know? How many of the people that owned it last week still do? I know that answer is more than zero, not to mention all the employees. You seem like another that is only getting part of the story.

I'm there every Tuesday and Friday. I noticed the surfboards in the hallway upstairs yesterday. I was curious but didn't think to ask the kitchen staff.
