Mabry House
Ernest's
The Village Grille

take your choice

ETA: if you're looking for something different than a traditional nice restaurant maybe try The Cub. it's located inside a bar. one of the best steaks in town.

I'd hit Southfield Grill for a good breakfast or plate lunch.

Fine Dining:
The Village
Wine Country
Binion's Steakhouse in Horseshoe

Go to Herby K's for a Shrimp Buster and coldest beer in town.

Hit Superior Grill for a double Rita and solid Mexican.

Bodacious BBQ for pulled pork sammich.

The Cub for a steak and steak fries (most people will tell you to get the au gratin potatoes, but I feel I have discovered a hidden gem with their fries).

Biscotti's in Lewis' makes a helluva cuban.

That'll do.

You could meet Zach for espresso at Starbucks.

-Bistro Byronz if you haven't been to the one in BR
-Bella Fresca
-Good Eats for lunch
-Monjuni's in Portico is $$$$ (not at all like the one on Highland in BR)
-I'll second The Cub- Try the filet and quail with the au gratins (never had the fries)
-Tacomania on Kings has good Mexican, and it won't be as crowded as Superior

ETA: If you want crawfish, go to Shaver's, but if you want to dine in, go to Shane's. Can't buy booze at Shane's though.

Bella Fresca was very good last time I was in Shreveport.

Wine Country Bistro
Herby K's
The Cub

What about Columbia Cafe? I haven't made it there yet. Anybody have an opinion?

Breakfast is very good.

Dinner is good, but kinda pricey for what you get.

If you think Monjuni's is expensive you've been to McDonalds way too much.
I recommend the shrimp pasta salad. It's where I go when I want to eat really cheap.

He sure could. I'm there every day at 7 am.
But my recommendation for lunch or dinner would be L'Italiano in Bossier City. It's a hole in the wall place run by Italians that barely speak English. Great food. Reasonable prices.

Got the best chicken tenders on the planet. They soak them in LA hot sauce overnight, then batter and fry. Six fingers to an order and tons of puppys and fries.

Everything else there is meh IMO.

The one on Airline in Bossier has them both beat IMO.
