What was the name of the seafood place that was in that building? Folks used to take us there as kids and I cannot remember. TIA.

I guessing it was before that. I believe it was the first business in that building.

It was a McDonald's Express before Kingfish. Had a limited McDonald's menu. It was supposed to be faster than the all the regular, tortoise-speed McDonald's locations.

I assumed McDonald's built the location, but I don't know.

McDonald's express was next door and has since been demolished.

It was also a wrap place at one time. Maybe a Roly Poly?

Wasn't TJ Moran the owner of the Kingfish Poboy place, if that in fact was the name?

IDK for sure, but that sounds about right.

Brubachers was on the corner of Coursey and Sherwood for a short time. I'd guess he made a very nice profit selling that spot to Walgreen's...I can remember before Brubachers, they had some place there where you could get a sprout burger and when it closed, another place opened that sold cinnamon rolls...Cannot recall the names of either places.

So Wrap 'n Roll was first, Wholly Mackerel second, Kingfish Po Boys third and now South of Philly?

I remember Wrap 'n Roll. You could tell it was created by people with lots of money and who were out of touch.

I sort of remember liking what I ordered, but what I do remember for sure is that the price was totally out of whack for what I got. It was like double digits for a wrap and a drink...back in the early 90's.

They were really impressed with themselves.

ETA: Kingfish Po Boys
