If someone could give me a few recommendations to some good places to eat, I would be thankful.
Visiting the S.O's family in Austin, but going to be in all three areas at some time. Any kind of food. Thanks

If you're in RR in the AM hours, hit up Round Rock Donuts. I worked in RR for about a year, but it's mostly chains. I did enjoy myself some Rudy's BBQ. Their moist brisket is legit. The ribs are meh.
In Austin, for a damn good burger in a dive, check out The Jackalope. If you like wild game and artisan sausages go to Frank. They have an antelope sausage that's delicious. They also do a bacon bloody mary and bacon infused Maker's Mark. Both of these places are downtown.
Places that come on high recommendation but I have not tried are The Whip-In and Barley Swine.

Yeah really dude! You never know if its the business owners and their friends saying places are good. So I ask the TD community for some suggestions. I would like someone that isn't getting paid to write reviews for advice. Don't be an a-hole. You didn't have to respond.
Thanks to those that did.

I meant do a FD Board search you rube. Places to eat in Austin have been discussed ad nauseum on this board in the distant and recent past.

Thanks guys for all of your suggestions. I will visit a few and won't feel like I'm just stopping at some random place.

For Austin these are some of my favorites. Barley Swine, Salty Sow, Foreign and Domestic, and Contigo are all good ones for dinner. East Side Kings is the best food truck around hands down. Check out Rainy St for drinks, also some good food there such as Garage Mahal and Bangers (Over 100 beers on tap). Have fun, my gf brought me to Austin to visit her family after a year of dating and I fell in love with the place. Found a way to there as quick as I could, got married here, all that fun stuff so be careful!
