Latils at Houmas House is head and shoulders above anything else mentioned here except possibly for Provance but it is closer and the ambiance is way ahead of the others on here. She is old enough to appreciate that over a noise fest somewhere like Byronz.

Maison Lacour and get the soup Jacqueline. Just a fantastic restaurant, awesome service and the food is the best in town. It's quaint and romantic too so she will love it.

Yes, I did not think about Maison Lacour but you are correct, it is excellent but I still choose Latils when this type occassion happened earlier this year.
