Going to LR to visit Mrs. Debaser's family this weekend. Anything that I've just got to have up there besides US Pizza and Whole Hog?

Local Lime
Bravo! And BlackenedOut deducts points from you? Pfftt.
Little Rock dining has changed a lot since I've lived there, so with the exception of Local Lime, I tend to stick to old faves when I visit like Damgoode Pies, Trio's, Sim's BBQ, and Igibon.

Little Rock food scene is booming right now.
Someone suggested Local Lime. That's a great restaurant from a restaurant group called Yellow Rocket which has some loose culinary ties to Chez Panisse. Anyway, some of their other restaurants:
Big Orange Burgers (gourmet burgers)
Zazas Pizza (wood fire pizzas)
Lost Forty Brewing (brewery with good pub fare)
and the newest: Heights Tamale and Taco Co. (elevated Tex Mex)
You can eat at any of those and be happy. They're all very well done.
Other places people really like:
Natchez (American/global fusion)
South on Main (southern)
Three Fold Noodle and Dumpling (excellent asian dumplings and noodle bowls)
The Southern Gourmasian (asian/southern fusion, obviously)
K-bird (thai)
This food blog does a pretty nice job of covering the scene:

Good luck and let us know what you try. There are tons of older offerings as well that are really good, but the ones I listed above are kind of the new "buzz" restaurants.

I hit up Capitol Bar & Grill during a business trip in January. All food and drinks were legit.
That's another great recommendation. Atmosphere is very nice. Apps and food are good. Cocktails are good. Nice hotel to stay in as well, and the toffee they put on your pillow is insanely good.
