Went last weekend but just got tapas... It was all pretty good with the exception of the blue cheese chips but nothing really blew me away

Very average place and can get pricy quickly...don't see what people see in this place

Has it gotten any better? I went multiple times, but its been about a year and a half or so. It was just plain awful. Great atmosphere and location, but the craft cocktails were more like mixed drinks and the food was salty and amateur. I heard Scott Varnado came on board as the chef. Is he still there? He did my rehearsal dinner when he was at The Myrtles and it was a top 5 meal for nearly everyone there.

Was my experience for my only trip to the Myrtles. Although when he was at Stroube's the menu was really good.
His wife posts, or has posted, here before. Maybe she will return for this thread.

His wife would know my mother. They probably talked 50+ times planning that rehearsal dinner. My mom felt like she knew the woman after that experience
