I have a new burner and I am having issues with it staying lit. Any ideas? It is a cast iron high pressure burner.

Am not an expert.....but try blowing high pressure air through everything. There may be dirt, sand or a spider web blocking the burner.

Try adjusting the air intake. I may not be getting enough air or to much air.

Have the valve to the burner closed before you open the valve on the tank. The pressure regulator won't work properly unless you do one step at a time.

Have the burner valve closed, open the tank regulator, then the valve to the burner.

If that doesn't work, tap the pressure regulator and see if you get more fuel. Replace if necessary.

you probably need to replace the regulator or as a previous poster mentioned adjust the air/fuel ratio...
