Anyone know what they're running per pound? It's sad you have to budget if you want to spend an arm and a leg for em.

I heard around $5 lb with potatoes and corn.

I gotcha. Thanks. I'm sure it's like $5.99, so with tax like 6.50 a pound.

Pretty sure it was $15 for three pounds a week ago.

How were they? I don't normally look to get em so early the wife's impatient.

Small as expected. Not too spicy, made for the masses.

At those prices, they aren't making munch money at Sammy's. Probably just planning to make $$ on the beer.

They are high. 5 lb platter is 27.99
I think the crawfish are a little small, but i find Sammy's makes the best crawfish any restaurant in town can boil. (obviously this doesn't include backyard boils)

Go to brightside instead.
5 a lb, 15 for 3 lb platter w corn and potatoes

Why would I want an inferior product?

I think they wash the crawfish at brightside in the ditch out front.

The ones at Sammy's weren't very good on Sunday. I had lunch there with a couple of posters and they were disappointed.

This is correct.....I had some on Sunday. I got the first batch of the day so they didn't have as much flavor.
They are still kind of small and a little soft for my liking.
Ill be back.
